Hotel & Hospitality Photographer in Byron Bay & the Northern Rivers

I photograph boutique hotels, resorts, restaurants and bars. I'm based in Byron Bay and have shot Raes on Wategos, Swell Byron Bay and Basq House, along with other places around the Northern Rivers. People book a hotel on a feeling, and they get that feeling from the photos. So I shoot what a guest would remember: morning light across the bed, the view from the terrace, the bar just before it fills up. I work across the Northern Rivers, Tweed Coast and Gold Coast, and travel Australia wide.

Hotels use my photos on their websites, booking pages and Instagram, and in the press. I can shoot video on the same visit, which saves you organising two crews.

What kind of venues do you photograph?

Mostly design led boutique hotels and high end accommodation, places where the building and the interiors are a big part of why people stay.

How is a hotel shoot different from a house?

With a house I'm showing the design. With a hotel I'm showing what it's like to stay there. I still plan around the light and go room by room, but I spend more time on the small things guests notice.
