Interior Photographer in Byron Bay & the Northern Rivers

I photograph interiors for designers, architects and developers. I'm based in Byron Bay and work across the Northern Rivers, the Gold Coast and Brisbane, and further when a project calls for it. A designer spends months choosing materials, furniture and finishes. My job is to show those choices properly, in the light they were meant to be seen in. I'd rather deliver fewer photos that feel like standing in the room than a pile that only proves the room exists. I've shot private homes, hinterland retreats, boutique hotels and commercial fit outs around Byron.

Designers use the photos for their portfolios, Instagram, magazine submissions and awards.

What I shoot:

Homes and residential interiors, Hotels, restaurants and commercial interiors, Details and materials, Drone photos to show the setting, Short videos for social media.

Do you work directly with interior designers?

Yes, most of my interior work comes straight from the designer. We go through the spaces together before the shoot so I know which rooms and details matter most.

What time of day is best for interiors?

It depends which way the rooms face. East-facing rooms look best early and west-facing ones in the afternoon. On a full-day shoot I move through the house with the light.

Does the space need to be styled?

It makes a big difference, so yes if you can. If you don't have a stylist, I can put you in touch with a few in the Northern Rivers I've worked with.
